Capital STEM School builds upon the legacy of excellence established by Katarina Kindergarten and Primary School, founded in 1981 by our late parents.
Our late father, Birinengi Idoniboye-Obu was a one-time headmaster and later a lecturer. He studied science and taught botany and zoology at the College of Science and Technology (now University of Technology) Port Harcourt. He was an expert on environmental pollution and served as Chairman of the Nigerian Institute of Oceanographic & Marine Research (NIOMR), Victoria Island, Lagos.
Our mother, Dubravka, taught at Stella Maris College and Holy Rosary Secondary School, both in Port Harcourt.
Our current faculty, some with master's degrees, has over 180 years of combined experience. This abundance of knowledge strengthens our determination to provide a modern education.
